Who we are

A Christian ministry in Liberia, West Africa.

HOPE127 serves remote villages across Liberia where doctors, clean water and churches are all hard to come by. The work begins with practical needs — free clinics, wells, farmland — but it does not end there. Liberian missionaries share the gospel, baptize those who believe, teach them month by month, train local leaders, and help each village establish a church of its own.

HOPE127 is in the process of assisting, defending, and rescuing the poor, widows, orphans, and young women — providing a holistic approach to some of Liberia's biggest challenges.

Our missionaries

The gospel work in Liberia is led by Liberians.

HOPE127 sends them out and equips them to go farther — leadership training, audio Bibles in the village's own language, and the roof over the church they leave behind.

Disciples and churches

Reaching a village is only the beginning.

A missionary arrives, and then stays long enough for something to be left behind: believers who have been taught, leaders who have been trained, and a church the village runs itself.

    Go and make disciples

    Missionaries travel to unreached villages, share the gospel and the Jesus Film, and baptize those who respond in the nearest river.

    Discipleship training

    New believers meet for teaching every month, and receive solar-powered audio Bibles in their own tribal language.

  3. 003

    Church planting

    Local leaders are raised up and trained, and HOPE127 helps with the zinc roofing and building materials a new church needs.

HOPE127 started its tenth church in 2026, the tenth since the ministry began. Before the mission work there were wells, farmland and clinics — that is the work in the villages.

HOPE127 works in Liberia, West Africa, including Bong County, where a 20-acre farm is being cleared and developed. The ministry serves remote villages without access to healthcare, providing free medical services where no hospitals or doctors are available.
